Funding
Cassia is and continues to be funded for projects that currently include a Safety Project and an 'Aboriginal Access' project. It is also managed by a volunteer management committee. Cassia's primary source of funding is through the Department of Community Services with individual projects being funded through the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, and other government departments. All these departments provide funding using the submission formula. Other income is from membership fees, fee/contribution for service, interest, and fundraising events (open days, trivia nights, recipe books, etc).
